Alex Gwaze:

An Educator, Social Documentarian, Contemporary Artist and the Founder of MUD&Co. Alex has a Masters in Documentary Arts and a B.A in Film and Media Production from the University of Cape Town.

Alex is the former Technical / Practical Lecturer at Midlands State University, guest lecturer and tutor at the University of Cape Town, and mentor for UCTTV’s Journalism Stepping Stone program. He is a Facilitator and Contributor for the European Union Film Festival Zimbabwe and his articles have been published in academic journals.  The former Assistant Curator for the Centre for African Studies Gallery in Cape Town, Alex’s works have been exhibited in group exhibitions at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare. He directed the ZTV’s Early child development TV series, “Learn ‘N’ Play”, and his previous clients / jobs include: Growth Point Properties (RSA), DSTV’S Zambezi Magic (RSA), Picsolve International (UK), and the Broadcasting Association of Zimbabwe. Alex is a Zim Blogs Award nominee, and his expertise is in multimedia production, education, creative consultancy, photojournalism, camerawork, research, video editing, script writing, research, African Arts and culture, photography, social media, conceptual Art, and dialogic journalism.

Charmaine Mudau:

A multi-award-winning Actress (Film and Theatre), Writer, and Adjudicator, with a National Arts Merit Award (NAMA) for Outstanding Theatre Actress and a Bulawayo Arts Award (BAA) for Outstanding Film and TV Actress.

Charmaine has a Masters in Public Policy and Development management and a BA (hons) in Language and Communication Studies from Lupane State University. Some of her notable performances include, “Imbokodo: Here Because of A Man”, “Another Wedding”, “Garden of Dreams”, and the “Vagina Monologues Africa”. Charmaine has performed in Spain for the United Nations COP25 and in Rwanda for the Regional Dialogue theatre for policy advocacy. Charmaine is the former Lifestyle and Travel Editor/ Writer for Urban Culture website and she is a contributor for the European Union Film Festival Zimbabwe. Charmaine has adjudicated several theatre and talent competitions in the country and her expertise is in acting for screen and stage, creative entrepreneurship, professional development education, and supporting at-risk individuals.

Johane Mpofu:

The founder of Bantu Films, Johane studied film at Monash University and Big Fish School of Digital filmmaking, in Johannesburg and he has a Diploma in Filmmaking.

Johane has worked at Urban Brew studios on the following shows: “Friends Like These”, “3 Talk”, “YoTV”, and “KhumbulaEkhaya”. Johane has directed / shot 6 films for DSTV’s Zambezi Magic that include “Golddiggers”,”Sjaiva S’bone”, and “400”. On ZTV, he directed the “Thatha Wena” show and he was the director of photography for the “Insuka Zokucina” series. Johane teaches film at Nhimbe Trust, mentors /produces the Art of Community film project (“Istory Yiso”). He is the founder and director of High Schools Film Festival in Bulawayo and his expertise is in film directing, TV adverts, video editing, camerawork, and mentorship.

Tahle WeDzinza:

A Singer, Actress, and Podcaster, Tahle has a Zimbabwean Music Award (ZIMA) and over 18 distinctions and awards from National Institute of Allied Arts.

Tahle was the lead in the National Arts Merit Award (NAMA) winning theatre production “Bongile”, and she has performed at major festivals that include Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) and the Nyege Festival in Uganda. Tahle is multilingual and her music reflects her diverse and sophisticated musical background. The Women in Business Awards named her the top Female in Arts and Musicology and she has been interviewed by CNN’s “African Voices”. Tahle’s expertise is in singing, vocal training, songwriting, podcasting, theatre, social issues, and interior design.

Zorodzai Chibuwe:

A Cinematographer, Director, and Photographer, Zorodzai has a B.A (hons) in Film and Theatre Arts from Midlands State University and he is a ZimStar best music video director nominee.

Zorodzai is the principal cameraman / photographer and Jah Prayzah Studios and Military Touch Movement. Co-founder Fokus Media and Wonai TV, Zorodzai has done some work for Econet, Nash Paints, University of Zimbabwe, and Pepsi, He has photographed local celebrities EX-Q, Ammara Brown, Gemma Griffiths, and Tamy Moyo and he has directed music videos for Enzo Ishall, Ma9ine, Caff and Rutendo Jackie. His expertise is in camerawork, photography, editing, directing, filmmaking and editing.

Elspeth Chimedza:

A Content Creator, Writer, and Poet, Elspeth is a three-time ZimBlog Awards nominee and a ZimAchievers Award nominee.

Elspeth is the Founder of the music and urban culture publication, Groove Magazine International and she is the former Editor and Chief of Youth Village ZW. Elspeth is the Editorial Director at MUD&Co and a content Creator for Zifm Stereo. Her expertise is in content creation, social media management, feature writing, scriptwriting, blogging, content creation, and editorials.

Mishael Live:

A Dancer, Choreographer, and Instagrammer, Mishael is the Founder of The Live Family and Co-Founder of Megatronz and The Empire Dance Company and his a ZimHiphop Awards and ZimStar Awards nominee.

Mishael is a Dance Teacher at Petra High School he has choreographed routines / worked with Patoranking, Jah Prayzah, Gigi Lamayne, ASAPH, and Madlela, just to name a few. Over his 8+ year career Mishael has performed at Oskido’s Home Coming, Intwasa Arts Festival, and Chibuku Neshamwari Dance competition. Regionally he has competed at World of Dance South Africa, African Dance Competition, and Red Square Dance Competition. His expertise is in choreography, dance (all styles especially Afro, Hip-hop, and House), music videos, and social media.

Zanele Dube-Katiyo:

A Fashion Designer and the Founder of ZAH Designs, Zanele studied Fashion at Speciss College and has a Diploma in Art, Fashion and Design from Bulawayo Polytechnic.

Zah has showcased her designs at the Durban Fashion Fair, Intwasa Fashion Show, Bulawayo Clothing Indaba, and the
Feet In The City Parade. Zanele began her career at Edgar’s Carousel since then she has worked for Morgan and Brown (RSA) designing gowns and suits, and at Unique Clothing – making ready to wear garments, before launching her own brand. ZAH Designs focuses on Haute Couture, Bridal wear, Corporate wear, Safety wear and uniforms. Their clients are mainly companies and recently they donated 1000 masks to schools and
offices around the city of Bulawayo. Zanele’s expertise is in Haute Couture, patterning, illustrations, mass production, stylish classic silhouettes, office wear, and wedding attire.

Fish F Ndaramu:

A music Producer, recording Artist and three-time ZimHiphop Award winner (Song of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best video) and Bulawayo Arts Awards nominee.

Fish is best known for his fusion of sounds and his energetic live performances. He owns the Ilduce Dynasty record label / recording studio and he has worked with ASAPH, Albert Nyathi, Mzoe 7, Makhoe Drey, Msizkay and the late Cal_Vin, just to name a few. Fish also runs the Demi’D fashion label, and his expertise is in music production (hip-hop, Afropop, trap, alternative, afro fusion, and house), vocal recording and mixing, tags, voice over, film scoring, and conceptual music videos.

Joanne Peters:

A Model Scout / Coach and Image Consultant, Joanne is the Operations Director at Open Eye Studios and she has a Diploma in International Travel and Tourism from IATA.

Joanne was an ambassador for Miss Culture Zimbabwe and she was the original host of House of Mutu’s “Umceco Show”. As a model, Joanne has walked for renowned international designer, John Ablaza and she was featured in Zim AfroPop legend, Roki’s music video. Furthermore, she was cast in the locally produced film, “Liabilities of Love”. Joanne is the Projects Coordinator at MUD&Co and the former President of the Rotaract Club of Belmont. Her expertise is in consultancy, runway / catwalk training, posing, grooming, etiquette, event organization, administration, and project management.

Sam Malete:

An Actor, Casting Consultant, and Acting Coach.

In his 15+ year career, Sam has acted in over 20 films and series. Some of local films / series he has acted in include “Chinhoyi 7”, “Kings Kraal”, and “Mzotshayo”, just to name a few. Regionally he has been cast in the following DSTV productions: “Stealers”, “400”, and “Figure It Out”. Sam’s expertise is in acting for film and television, casting, coaching actors, and script development.

Ayanda Tshuma:

A Make Up artist, Ayanda has a Diploma in Beauty Therapy from Pyramid Beauty School in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ayanda is the founder of Glow by Nayah Beauty Clinic and Cosmetics and she runs Glow by Nayah practical make-up workshops and online tutorials. To date she has trained and tutored 50+students and her expertise is in fashion and event make-up, photoshoots, weddings, and nails.

Amanda Ndlovu:

A Registered Legal Practitioner of the High court of Zimbabwe, Amanda has a B.A – Bachelor of Legislative Law from Rhodes University, South Africa.

Amanda is an Attorney at Messrs. Webb, Low and Barry, Ben Baron and Partners and a Legal Advisor at Cottage 47 – a multimedia production studio for musicians. She is a mentor at Caterpillar’s Cocoon Trust- a trust for the development for youth in Zimbabwe. Amanda is a successful vlogger and her expertise is in litigation, legal strategies, legal drafting, alternative dispute resolution methods, oral presentations, academic writing, public speaking, and trademarks.
